Gulf Oil Going Digital With GoGo Cast Deal

Gulf Oil LP is bringing new digital signage to more than 2,500 convenience stores now that it has inked a deal with GoGo Cast.

As part of the agreement, GoGo Cast will install select digital sign and advertising solutions, including GoGo Cast's Go-Screens, in c-stores beginning this month. Gulf Oil will use GoGo Cast's exclusive customer and location data to create streaming content that is tailored for its locations. As a result, Gulf Oil dealers will be able to reach in-store customers by delivering practical and effective messages to help influence buying decisions at the point of purchase, the company said.

"As Gulf Oil continues its national expansion, we welcome partnerships with companies that provide cutting-edge products that contribute to the success of our dealers' business," stated Ron Sabia, Gulf Oil president and COO. "We believe GoGo Cast's product can enhance our customers' shopping experience while building greater customer loyalty for our dealers."

In addition, vendors will have the opportunity to highlight key selling points, complementing traditional POP advertising. Gulf locations are expected to see an increase in sales for products advertised on the screens at the selected retail locations where they are installed.

"We are thrilled to partner with Gulf Oil and bring the latest technology for consumer engagement to the iconic Gulf brand," said David Paolo, president and CEO of GoGo Cast. "With our ability to provide real-time messaging and dynamic content through our networks, GoGo Cast is quickly becoming the venue of choice for retailers and brands alike to reach the critical mass of 'on-the-go' qualified buyers."
